I already have a building management system (BMS) – what benefit do I get from using Ento?
A Building Management System allows you to control technical installations in your building, such as HVAC, but is not really designed to keep control of your consumption and detect outliers across your portfolio. Even if using the automation and scheduling facilities of the BMS, which should normally help saving energy, we often find that faulty BMS-systems are a major source of energy waste. This could be due to manually changed settings or setpoints, sensors, which are not working as intended, lost connections etc. Ento typically auto-detects a lot of these problems, so we generally find that well-maintained and configured BMS-systems working together with Ento is a very strong combination.

Do I need to install hardware in my buildings to use Ento?
No, you don’t need to invest in any hardware to use our Advisor. We get the consumption data from existing (sub)meters or directly from your utilities.

How long does it take to see first results after implementation?
After we get access to your consumption data, we can provide the first results within 24 hours. Data about your buildings, opening hours, weather data etc. is already integrated on the platform. No manual input is required, which is why we can create value within hours of sourcing your energy data.

What if I don’t have smart meters in some of my buildings? Can you still include the manual readings for reporting purposes?
Yes, we can! You can simply enter manual meter readings into our platform and the consumption will be visible for the individual building and for overall reporting.

We offer pricing to suit every building portfolio. We charge an annual subscription based on the complexity of your analysis and number of buildings in your portfolio.
