Everything under control: Ento launches AI-powered HVAC optimisation solution, "Ento Control"

Harnessing AI for smarter climate control and efficiency

Energy optimisation in buildings is more critical than ever and HVAC systems contribute significantly to a building’s energy consumption. Moreover, changes in temperature or indoor air quality can impact comfort, health, and productivity of occupants.

This is why we developed Ento Control. The AI-driven tool integrates seamlessly with existing HVAC systems and can dynamically adjust operations to real-time environmental and occupancy needs. For this, factors like outdoor temperature, solar radiation, and historical data are being taken into account.

"Based on our experience from more than 20,000 buildings, we’re now adding the ability to fully automate building operations. We’ve already seen how it’s possible to increase comfort while reducing energy consumption and time spent managing all of these technical systems. We’re now starting to roll Ento Control out across a large set of buildings."

Simplified compliance with laws and regulations

More than an energy-saving tool, Ento Control not only respects the building's unique characteristics but also helps navigate complex regulations, easing the burden of regulatory compliance. As more countries mandate specific indoor CO2 levels, Ento Control tracks air quality with the help of sensors to make sure buildings’ CO2 levels stay within legal limits.

Ento Control helps you improve occupant comfort and indoor air quality – while lowering operating hours and CO2 emissions.

User-friendly, non-disruptive technology

With Ento Control, managing your HVAC systems becomes seamless. The AI operates the system 24/7 and only sends notifications when attention is required – freeing building and facility managers to focus on other tasks.

"In the past, we have struggled with night setback and achieving the desired temperature for the opening time of a daycare centre. But since we started with AI control, we haven't had any complaints, and we haven't actually spent much time in the programme, because it runs by itself."

Yonas Meshaima
Energy Engineer, Holstebro Municipality

Without the need for additional hardware or software, Ento Control integrates with existing Building Management Systems like Danfoss LeanHeat. Integrations for other systems such as Honeywell, Trend, Niagara, Siemens, and Schneider will be available soon, too. It can also integrate indoor climate data from third parties. If anything goes offline, the build-in safety has your BMS fall back to your default settings.

It only takes five steps to get started and have HVAC systems controlled by Ento’s AI.
