Legacy and Ento team up to solve major challenges in Commercial Real Estate

Legacy, the leading carbon accounting software in Denmark, and Ento, the AI-powered software specialising in energy optimisation, are proud to announce a strategic partnership aimed at addressing two pressing challenges in Commercial Real Estate: Expediting data collection and providing actionable insights to optimise energy consumption.

The collaboration carries strategic benefits for customers of Ento and Legacy

The partnership between Legacy and Ento is set to bring a host of advantages to their customers. Here are some key highlights of this collaboration:

  • Faster access to data, achieving the highest level of carbon reporting.
  • Combining data for common and tenant areas, ensuring full data coverage and insights on the entire portfolio.
  • Identify buildings performing below benchmarks in Legacy and utilising insights from Ento to optimise energy consumption.

The combined solution is already used by the real estate partner DEAS Group and their client Velliv Ejendomme A/S. Here, the new partnership between Ento and Legacy enhances their operational efficiency of managing the property portfolio.

Kim Hoppe Revald, Senior Sustainability Manager, Velliv Ejendomme, says:

“We are excited about the collaboration between Ento and Legacy. This partnership not only enhances Velliv's carbon reporting capabilities but also ensures the best possible energy optimisation potential for our extensive property portfolio. We are  committed to leveraging this synergy for the benefit of our many tenants and the environment.”

“We emphasize offering our investors flexible options and assemble the optimal solution for each individual investor that suits their specific needs when it comes to gathering data and insights on energy consumption and reporting. It has been a pleasure to assist Velliv in finding the right match specifically for them. Ento and Legacy are truly two innovative solutions in the market, and we look forward to the collaboration,” continues Peter Weitzmann, Director, Energy Management and Data, DEAS Group.

Multiple bottom lines

With a range of new proptech coming to market, interest has been especially high for solutions benefitting multiple bottom lines, adds PropTech Denmark CEO, Michael Ambjørn, who celebrates the new collaboration:

“In the age of AI, we’re all casting about for concrete and practical examples of tech that has the potential to combine, scale – and address urgent challenges – all at the same time. With regulatory pressure to both account for carbon – and reduce it – PropTech Denmark member collaborations like this are both essential and exciting.”
