Collaborative effort leads to Landbrug & Fødevarer’s ISO 50001 Certification

The Danish Agriculture & Food Council (Landbrug & Fødevarer) has been awarded with the ISO 50001 Certification. Ento’s AI-driven digital advisor played a vital role in the process of analysing the organisation’s energy consumption and ultimately documenting and verifying the savings achieved. Landbrug & Fødevarer’s accomplishment represents a significant step towards more sustainable building operations and energy management.

Collaborative success of 4B Consulting, Landbrug & Fødevarer, and Ento

This achievement was made possible through a joint effort. The synergy between Landbrug & Fødevarer's dedication to sustainable practices, 4B Consulting's strategic insights, and Ento's AI-powered technology was key to this successful outcome.

Replacing traditional energy audits with ISO-certified energy management

Landbrug & Fødevarer chose to replace the mandatory energy audits with an ISO-certified energy management system (ISO50001). 4B Consulting worked alongside Landbrug & Fødevarer to develop a comprehensive project plan. This plan included strategies for integrating and utilising core and consumption data, developing a sustainable portfolio strategy, and operational tools for documentation.

Rapid results with Ento's data analysis platform

With Ento, Landbrug & Fødevarer was able to kick-off the process without purchasing or installing new hardware as the data that was already available was sufficient.

Ento’s solution supported the following aspects of the project

  • Automated data management
  • Virtual energy audits (EnPI)
  • Continuing monitoring and alerts
  • Dynamic energy baselines (ENB)
  • IPMVP method for verification
  • Data-backed decision-making

Within a few months of implementing Ento, significant energy and CO2 savings were realised. The platform, integrating consumption data from the national Datahub as well as local water and heating utilities, has already led to initiatives saving over 400,000 DKK per year and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 50 tons annually.
